They Design. You Customize.
Customizing your own clothes seems pretty fancy and unattainable, right? Well, now with eShakti, you can easily customize your exact height, size, and style of dresses, tops, and jackets to be delivered within 2 weeks of your order!
eShakti has been featured in Vogue, Glamour, and Women’s World magazines. It is the only online women’s fashion apparel company offering sizes 0-36 and custom clothing. The eShakti website provides a huge variety of designs. Once you choose the piece with a pattern and design you like, you can then customize the size based on your own measurements. Then the fun really starts- eShakti gives you the option of choosing the sleeve type (from long to sleeveless), dress length (from long to mini), and up to 12 different necklines.
The whole process is a lot of fun. It’s is a pretty cool feeling to design your own dress. Having control over what you wear, how it fits, how it looks, and how it’s cut is a great concept. From my experience with the dress I ordered, eShakti seems fairly modest and conservative in the custom length and necklines. I chose mini for the length and deep V for the neckline hoping for a cute little date night dress. However, the length was longer than I anticipated and the deep V wasn’t as deep as I thought it would be. But in all honesty, I am not disappointed at all because this turned out to be a sophisticated dress that I can wear in a more professional setting which I also need and appreciate. Maybe it was the universe telling me I shouldn’t be showing so much skin anyways. All in all, eShakti is a fantastic company that has a fun and interactive way of creating beautiful garments for their customers.
The Stir I’ve paired with this Style is a fresh and healthy quinoa salad. I’ve mixed together golden quinoa, red quinoa, wild rice, pomegranates, roasted corn, feta cheese, and green onions. My eShakti dress has a lot of bright colors on top of neutrals. Creating this Stir + Style was one of the most challenging so far because what I had in mind originally didn’t quite turn out when I photographed it. My Stir ideas ranged from pork chops with fruit salsa to oatmeal with a fruit and granola medley. I decided on this quinoa salad because the backdrop was the neutral colors which came from the quinoa and wild rice with the pops of color from the red and pinkish pomegranates, yellow and white corn, white feta, and green green onions. I had a lot of fun not only creating my dress, but creating the Stir for this Style.
Below are other favorite designs from eShakti that also caught my eye:
- Pomegranate Red Split Neck Sheath Dress: The sheath has a little stretch and slimming seam details.
- Loden Green Virginia Dress: Scallop trimmed dress styled with a wide V-neckline, princess seamed bodice, banded high waist and full circle skirt for a flattering silhouette.
- Tomato Red Vented Neck Ponte Sheath Dress: It has a tailored sheath that pairs a split neck bodice and fitted pencil skirt to create a clean-line silhouette.
- Deep Navy Notch Neck Cotton Poplin Dress: A wide V-neck with a sharp notch sets a modern tone for their cotton poplin dress fitted with princess seams at the bodice and detailed with a removable sash tie belt.
